I'm having problem playing this game. A quest of "repairing the holodeck" appeared, and I prepared the materials and talked to Khelara at every hour, but the repairs did not start. Is there another condition required here? My playing version is 220_022-pc.
you can actively cloak, but that would mean you have to replace under verse add-ons in dark Mirage by normal cloaking add-ons. You need to balance them in a way that satisfies cloak on it which you want and active cloak which
I went back and reloaded the previous version, and the cloaking button is there. Everything else is exactly the same. Did you change how the device works?

On a second note, last night I came across another small bug, or at least an inconsistency. In the bot configurator, some of the shells (V, and I, at least) make it impossible to change body parts (legs, etc.). You must remove the shell first. But others allow it.
And finally, could you possibly lengthen the field for the MC's name a bit? The one I chose is two characters too long, and it's annoying to see it being truncated all the time.
Ok. No problems. It was just puzzling to me that a "feature" I had been depending on changed without warning. I've now figured out how to work with it.
It might also be nice to be able to easily change your name after you've set it. Maybe that's possible with a cheat or something, but I haven't looked into that yet.
For some reason the game wont give me the option to quality control my bots, its not in the usual place, Im pretty far in the game (completed NX010 and have done pretty much all the side quests except the khelara one)
you need a certain level of technical skills in order to do that. Maybe you have not increased your technical skill to the required level by repairing bot parts in the laboratory.
My tec skill level is 12, but I mean Ive been repairing a bunch of bots so either it wont level up for some reason or idk maybe I thought I was doing more than I am, you may be right though because I havent done bot selling all that much in thus run
I think QC starts at 15. (you can check hover over tec stat in MC stats screen). Repair (or upgrade) a bunch of bot parts and in 2 or 3 days you are at 15.

I have a Gen 3 bot with 163 IQ earning money, but it won't let me put a Gen 2 with significantly less. Can these only be sold? Does "Traded" mean sold? What are the limits per Gen and is IQ affected by any kind of training? Does a Shell affect restrictions?
Also, "Hyper-Training" consumes Pro but seems to do nothing. It wasn't even clear how it worked, it says "ON" but the Pro is consumed only when you click the gray text again. Is there some prerequisite that I don't have, yet it is not stopped without it?
Bots with IQ 140+ are illegal, but can be sent to arcade or sold in: pirate outpost, all of arellarti space, quthor. hypertrain: Activate once, the use until text vanishes, then click on next promethium to recharge
So you have to be at that location or what? Or how do you do it? Second, where is the used promethium going? Is it stored? (I.e. click click click 3+ gone in a moment)
You click once and then it is activated and then for the next 20 manual training clicks you will have an increased effect.
After that it is used up and you can reactivate it and click on the next one.
regarding the illegal bots, you have to be at a location that allows trading in them. Which is either the pirate outpost or some other systems. You can send them to the arcade and sell them while you are in orbit I think, you do not need to land or dock
You misunderstand. Buying promethium now and skipping days doesn't do anything. You had a piece of promethium before you activated hyper training. Activating hyper training consumed the promethium, giving you 20 charges of hyper training in return. Hyper training is not connected to the auto-training, so passage of time does not affect it. The only thing it has an effect on is the manual training done by clicking the Train button.So you'll have to do that to get rid of your hyper training charges to "turn it off". Manual training does cost energy from the energy pods though, so you'll need at least 2 of those to use up the maximum of 20 hyper training charges.
There is no "off" button, because there's no downsides to having hyper training on. It doesn't do anything unless you actually use manual training - in which case it gives you more training for the same amount of energy consumed.

I think a year ago the game version was smaller than 2.0 which means that there is no way to load any of those save games into the new version unfortunately.
You can start at a new starting point which is available after you choose new game which will set you up at least a little bit

Hey Dev! Found a possible bug in the Quthor Underverse Cult quest. I didn't have Khelara's EXH raise at all when I talked to the bartender at Leather Forge, this caused Khelara's dialog to reject the dancer option and I was never able to restart the conversation. This might also leave the Chambermaid event/quest in a bad state, as I believe it doesn't even trigger until the Cult Quest is finished.
Giving it another playthrough from the beggining, so in a week or two I'll let you know if I was able to break it intentionally.
Analyzed the issue. You were correct that her behaviour is inconsistent.
If EXH < 10 she blows you off when you chat with her about the dancer mission. Good news is, due to a consecutive error the quest still advances and you can talk to zayla and then again to khelara and can send her dancing nonetheless.
I corrected it in V2.20. She blows you off if EXH is < 10 and you can not ask her about that again until next day. repeatable until your EXH >= 10, then it proceeds.

You need to fight the three ships that show up in the Quthor system when you shut down the underverse cult. It's an optional mission chain that can't even be started until fairly late. Using the stealth option and the Infiltrator prevents this. There might be a bug in the quest. Check newer comments, just in case.
Hi, any clues on how to defeat the assembler at Waystation?? I know its not needed but I just wanna do it. I've tried the Armagedon core as well and there isn't a scratch on him. Is he even beatable??
It's not beatable. The big goon is the loot drop mechanic for the zone. He's there just to brawl and drop semi random goodies. Like Santa Claus with a baseball bat.
In a way it is already complete ("The Way Home Main Quest"), I just release some new episodes / side quests from time to time.
I think it will not be available on steam as Steam adult content is not accessible in the European country where I live, courtesy to our retarded government...
It would seem that info about reaching 100% engines (along with Explorer achievement) and info about operational mining laser are bugged in 2.10_12c, and currently can only trigger when cargo capacity is exceeded.
Tracked it to lines 249-258 in 740_maintenance.rpy, which seems to be indented too much.
I cannot remember of the top of my head, but when you search the code for any of these above, you will find the piece of code that has the complete list
The pet milk has no use so far except for collecting it

I'm trying to impress the Krell Pet Owner, and I have T'Riss' Exh at 12, but when I go to her on the Bridge and select suggest a public task the MC doesn't have the option and says he doesn't know of a public task for her at the Arellarti Station. Is there something I'm missing?
this one is a bit more complicated to explain. There is a walk-through document for version 2.10 attached to the original post. You might want to have a look into that.
I cannot remember any specific difficulty with that. The first time you take her out in a cutscene is when you have to talk to the pet owner in order to gather information on Seraphine.
After that, once you have enrolled TRis into the pet class and she has done it she can go on normal pet walks as a favour
It's weird, cause for some reason I just can't take her out on the pet walk to the pet owner. I've got the quest to get his trust, the quest saus it requires T'Ris' EXH to be a 12, which I have, but the MC is just saying "I can't think of a suitable public favor in this location" when I ask for a public favor from her.
If you feel that this is a issue in the software and you know how to locate a save game file, you can drop it on some sharing service and send me the link and I can have a look into it.
Maybe it is some edge case that has been overlooked so far...

for some reason Im not being able to inspect khelara's outfits, every time I try to she tells me "I'm capable of wearing the uniform properly and that she's already got T'ris on her case about protocols" or whatever... what am I doing wrong I dont remember having this issue, I have her sub up to max and her exh at 12...
not all inspections are implemented for her. If they are you can access them. They are in the favour menu in the evening while she is in her quarters. Inspection of the progressive uniforms is definitely implemented.
I'm pretty sure I did the Krell inspect (must be in krell space for that). Racy and revealing will be shown at first dialogue / try on and are in the gallery
I'm glad to hear that you liked the game. I tried to include game elements as a major feature and the adult content only as a additional layer so to speak.

It's been a few months since I last played, and I've just now updated to this version.
Now there seems to be no way to cloak my ship during combat. The button to activate it has disappeared.
The Dark Mirage automatic cloak feature does still engage when damage is taken, however.

I also made the behaviour with the shell more consistent. Now you cannot modify the parts of a bot if you have a shell mounted.
As for the name, I'll check how much space is still there in the gui, also accommodating the billionaires who need a lot of space in the header

You used one when you turned hyper training on. Hyper training stops once this piece of promethium runs out of charges.

I remember testing it with inadequate EXH and it worked but it can't harm to look into it again.

Version 2.x is compatible forward to 2.1, 2.2 etc.
If you have older games, just save your stuff with the multiverse pod (see walkthrough). Start a new 2.x game and import your gear again
How do I get episode 14 of Galaxina? I got the quest telling me to look at the Quthor asteroid belt, but I can't find anything there
if you have the quest already, it will drop as loot from a pirate in the asteroid belt

you need to click on the location, that is the planet, asteroids or the space station, and not on the mark. That should work.
